Comscore Puts Digital Platforms in Focus for 2016

Recently comScore released their “2016 U.S. Cross-Platform Future In Focus” report. What they found isn’t surprising but it is significant. The darling of the digital and social world right now? Mobile. Accounting for two out of three digital minutes, smartphone apps are approaching half of all digital time spent.

Facebook’s sheer audience size has always been a compelling reason for brands to use the channel. Yet, when it comes to Millennials & engagement some marketers feel other platforms have a better pull. For XenoPsi, comScore’s most interesting finding was the average time spent monthly per 18-34 year-old visitor compared to other channels.

Our take? Facebook is still leading the pack for marketing opportuntities with the most scale and attention among Millenials.
