When it comes to mobile, we think in shades of… amber. In a new, nation-wide consumer report XenoPsi reveals exciting information on mobile technology’s influence on the beer shopping experience. Beer Business Daily took notice and featured the results from “At-Shelf Decision Making in the Beer Industry: The Effect of Mobile Devices.”

“Our research has uncovered the many ways beer marketers need to become a part of this new at-shelf behavior and how to ultimately deliver the brands’ message at this important point in the buying cycle.” said MichaelAaron Flicker, XenoPsi’s founder and president.

According to the report, 49% of beer purchasers tap smartphones during their in-store shopping experience. The report also reveals that smartphone usage in stores leads beer buyers to more trial and increased purchase.
